Join channels

1. Click the + sign next to the word Channels on the left menu.
2. Click "Browse channels".
3. Click on a channel in the channel list, then click "Join channel".

Group channels

Your Slack Sidebar may look overwhelming and messy after joining a lot of channels. We highly recommend you create sections (or groups) in your Slack Sidebar to organize channels joined.

1. Click on the 3 dots next to Channels
2. Click "Edit sidebar"
3. Select the channels you'd to group together
4. Click "Move to..." and select either "Starred" or "Move to new section".
